A Precinct Committee Person (PCP) is an appointed or elected official who is a direct link between the political party and the voters in their local election district.  PCPs reach out to registered Democrats in their precinct to provide information on elections and to be a helpful resource for voters.

To become a PCP you must attend a minimum of three CCDCC meetings, be in attendance at the meeting in which you are nominated, and be elected by a majority vote.  As a PCP you are accorded voting privileges to elect officers and determine party policy.
